Free Antivirus from Microsoft

If you are running Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP there is really now no need to shell out extra cash for a Security Suite to protect you from malware and viruses. Windows already comes with a malware killer called Windows Defender. Now Microsoft has released its own free antivirus program to vival Norton, AVG, etc called Security Essentials. Get it from HERE. You must have Windows Updates switched on but most people do anyway. Enjoy!

Installing Audio Drivers on HP zv6000 Vista x64 or Windows Server 2000 x64

I've at last got the sound working.
I found the drivers hidden on the HP site at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&swItem=ob-51288-1&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
If you run the exe it will fail. The defalt place where the setup program will be extracted is c:\swsetup\sp35558\.
You need to install the driver as follows:
1) Start the "Device Manager", right click the broken Audio Device an select "Update Driver Software".
2) Select "Browse my computer for driver software, then click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
3) For audio, select the device type "Sound, video and game controllers" and select Have Disk, then browse to manually locate the corresponding .inf file for the audio driver eg c:\swsetup\sp35558\.
4) Select that audio driver and install it, if you get a warning about it not being compatible like I did, ignore the warning and continue with the installation of the audio driver.
5) Restart the computer if it asks you to.
8) The speaker symbol on the bottom right of the task bar should now lose the Red Crossed Circle and sound should be enabled

If been using InkClub for years. I like the simple interface. You just select the make of your printer and then click on the model from the list of models displayed. Then you are shown a list of all the inks available, and the types and sizes of paper available. You have a choice of genuine manufacturer of the InkClubs own brand versions. I haven't tried their own inks but I have tried their own paper and it is excellent. They also have a range of other things like t-shirt transfers and magnetic paper to make your own fridge magnets. There's a new name for all those emails you receive that are not Spam but you don't really want to deal with now. These include notifications that friends updated your Facebook or all those email newsletters you couldn't resist joining. I guess we got Spam from Spiced Ham and Bacn is a funny play on this and we say it as Bacon.

Google is my search engine of choice. One thing I like to do if I know the web site but I don't know the page is to use site colon site name. For example if you search for site:apple.com download itunes will take you to http://www.apple.com/itunes. This is a really useful way to search within a known web site.
